How we work with High Schools

Secondary schools play an important role in adolescent health.

Since 2017, four local health districts (including Hunter New England) have been supporting secondary schools to build physically active schools through a research trial called “Physical Activity 4 Everyone’ (PA4E1).

An initial trial of PA4E1 found it to be effective and cost-effective.

PA4E1 has now been scaled up for delivery in more schools.

You can find a summary of the main findings here via Kudos, as the findings emerge!
