Good For Schools

Good for Kids, Good for Life will provide support to build on existing healthy eating and physical activity programs within schools.

It will also introduce new initiatives so that our schools are recognised for their leadership in improving health and education outcomes for children.

Good for Kids has developed a strong partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Catholic School’s Offices (CSO). The schools programs will be offered to all DET, CSO and Independent schools in the Hunter New England Health region. This will include schools from the New England, Hunter/Central Coast, Western NSW and North Coast DET regions and from the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and the Diocese of Armidale.
