Ode To a Veggie Patch
Two long narrow beds built from smoothed, recycled timber, filled with rich soil, topped with recycled garden waste, fertilised with 'worm wee' from worm farm.
Snow peas, tiny toms, spinich, capsicum and more planted, picked, prepared and devoured by the children under the keen eye of Beth who helps the children make spinich pie.
'This is delicious cake!' was the cry.

Ingredients
Multigrain English Muffins
Lean ham, diced
Tomato Paste
Diced capsicum
Diced mushrooms
Diced tomato
Pineapple pieces
Low fat grated cheese
(or use any other veggies you like)
Method:
Spread tomato paste on muffin
Place diced veggies, ham and pineapple pieces on top
Sprinkle with cheese
Bake in oven or under griller till cheese melts
