As a media trained member you may be occasionally called on to be the designated spokesperson for a media release, or in response to a current issue in the news. When a media opportunity arises, Eat It To Beat It or Parents Jury staff will liaise between you and the journalist, and brief you to ensure that you are comfortable with the topic, have our key messages and background information on hand. NB: Members are never expected to arrange interviews themselves or talk to journalists 'out of the blue'.
