School Project Officers
Three school project officers will start working across the Hunter New England region in 2008. They will provide teachers and principals with support to implement the Good for Kids School strategies.
Support will include:
- Providing teacher training and professional learning
- Disseminating resources to schools
- School visits and feedback to schools on progress
Good For Teachers
Good For Kids @ School aims to provide
teachers and schools with:
- Simple healthy eating and physical activity programs that can be easily implemented across the whole school.
- Teaching and learning resources for healthy eating and physical activity.
- Information and resources for parents and students
